What is the difference between a commercial robot vacuum and an industrial vacuum cleaner?
An industrial vacuum cleaner is a powerful manual machine, operated by a person to pick up large quantities of debris, swarf or liquids at the source. A commercial robot vacuum is autonomous: it deals with the diffuse dust that settles across all the surfaces, through repeated, scheduled passes. The two complement each other; neither replaces the other.
Does a robot vacuum work on carpet?
Yes, depending on the model. The PUDU MT1 Vac recognises the surface and adjusts its suction between hard floors and carpet. On the compact ranges, carpet vacuuming may require a dedicated kit: we confirm this during the on-site demonstration, based on your floor coverings.
How much floor area can an autonomous vacuum cover?
From a few hundred square metres on an office floor to several thousand square metres a day in a warehouse, depending on the model, the cleaning width and the layout of the site. The self-charging docking station lets the robot run one cycle after another.
Does the robot pick up fine dust?
Yes. The models we deploy carry class H11 filtration, with an optional HEPA H13 filter to retain fine particles and allergens. It is an important criterion in densely occupied offices and public-facing premises.
Should you buy the robot or use a service?
Our model is a full-service subscription: robots, teams, consumables, maintenance and a 72-hour continuity guarantee. You pay for a cleaning result, not for a machine. The free on-site demonstration sizes the solution on your actual floor areas.
Does a commercial autonomous vacuum replace the canister vacuum?
On large carpeted areas, yes: it vacuums at night, under the furniture, at a rated 1,000 to 1,500 m²/h, with traceability. The operative keeps the edges, the stairs, the congested areas, spot removal and shampooing; the canister vacuum stays for that follow-up work.
Which robot vacuum for a hotel?
A compact autonomous vacuum of 28 to 55 cm, quiet, with swappable batteries or a docking station, for carpeted corridors and common areas; the bedrooms stay with the operative. A compact multifunction robot is the right choice if the hotel mixes carpet and hard floors.
Does an autonomous vacuum clean hard floors?
It vacuums them, it does not scrub them. For a mixed site with carpet and hard floors, a compact multifunction robot vacuums the carpet and scrubs the hard floors on the same level; a pure autonomous vacuum remains the right choice for sites that are mostly carpeted.
