Three differences, no more
The BG1 Pro shares the BG1's platform. Here is what it really adds, and why it matters in a car park.
A map that allows for cars
In a car park, parked vehicles change from one night to the next and hide the landmarks of a flat map. The 3D LiDAR mapping mode, recommended by the manufacturer for these sites, relies on the building's structure and levels rather than on what is parked.
Speed bumps no longer stop it
The BG1 crosses 25 mm thresholds; the Pro gets over the 7 cm speed bumps found in car park aisles and delivery lanes. An area that used to force a split map becomes a single route again.
Suction for sand and grit
A vacuum turbine strengthens suction behind the squeegee. On a floor loaded with sand, grit and water brought in by tyres, the floor comes out drier and the squeegee clogs less quickly.
Everything else is the BG1's
Same 75 and 60 L tanks, same 7.5 h eco runtime, same right-hand side brush and looped route, same detergent cartridges. The choice between the two is made on site, not on the spec sheet.
It finds its way under high ceilings
360° 3D LiDAR, front and rear 2D LiDAR and visual localisation effective up to 35 m of ceiling height: shopping arcades and halls stay readable, and a dedicated sensor spots glass walls.
Three settings depending on the zone
Eco at 62 dB, standard at 68 dB, high at 75 dB for tyre marks: the setting is chosen per zone on the map, and eco mode covers up to 15,000 m² per charge.

Three ways to supply water
Automatic filling at the station, semi-automatic filling with an overflow cut-off, or manual filling with a hose. In a car park, the nearest water supply often decides where the station goes.
A squeegee and a bin to keep an eye on
Sand and grit fill the front bin and filter basket faster: in a car park, daily emptying and a squeegee check become regular tasks, which we show your team.
Wear parts you can plan for
Scrubbing brushes every 3 to 6 months, side brush every 4 to 8 months, squeegees and filter at around 6 months. In abrasive conditions the intervals shorten: in our offer they are tracked and included in the contract.
Six operational questions
Ramps between levels?
It scrubs on slopes up to 5° and travels up to 8°. Steeper car park ramps are left off the map: each level is handled separately, or it changes level in a suitable goods lift.
Moving vehicles?
It detects moving obstacles and signals its presence with lights and sounds. In a car park open to the public, we schedule passes at quiet times, often at night.
Where does the station go?
A compact charging post, a nearly flat floor (under 2°) and about 3 m by 2.5 m of clear space, with a power socket and, if possible, a water supply.
Oil and fuel stains?
It scrubs everyday marks. Ingrained oil stains need a dedicated treatment: we plan it separately in the cleaning schedule.
What goes in the cartridges?
Low-foam detergents with a pH of 2 to 12, with the option of pairing a degreaser and an anti-foam agent in the two cartridges.
A car park open to the weather?
The BG1 Pro is rated IP54 but remains a machine for covered floors. To sweep an open-air car park, the MT1 Max, built for outdoor use, is better equipped.

Understanding the PUDU BG1 Pro
The BG1 Pro is the range's most ambitious floor-cleaning machine: the same single-pass sweep-and-scrub architecture as the BG1, fitted with full 3D perception (3D LiDAR, 3D visual navigation) and a mapping mode designed for car parks and a logic the manufacturer calls AI Magic Cleaning: real-time detection of soiling, with strategy, detergent dosing and brush pressure continuously recalculated according to the state of the floor.

A machine that understands its surroundings
The BG1 Pro does not simply follow a recorded route: it fuses 3D LiDAR and vision to localise itself robustly in high-ceilinged halls, at night or in visually cluttered environments, and adapts its behaviour to what it perceives. The roller collects the waste, the brush scrubs, the squeegee picks up the water: the floor comes out clean and dry behind a single pass.
What really sets it apart from the BG1 comes down to three points: the 3D LiDAR mapping the manufacturer recommends for car parks, where parked vehicles and changes in level disrupt a flat map; the ability to cross 7 cm speed bumps; and a vacuum turbine for the sand and grit brought in by tyres. The extendable brush, presented as an industry first
Like the BG1, the Pro carries the physically extendable side brush that goes out to scrub the edges, along walls, under shelving, into corners, wherever robotic scrubbers used to leave a strip to be redone by hand.
Combined with 3D dynamic obstacle avoidance, it lets the robot run close along the shopfronts of a mall or the pallets of a warehouse without stopping dead at every encounter.

Shopping centres, warehouses and logistics platforms, industrial sites, airport and rail hubs: thousands of square metres in one continuous space, dense traffic, compressed time windows and an obligation to deliver results. The operational track record of a machine unveiled in March 2026 is measured in months: performance figures come from the manufacturer's data sheets, and longevity has yet to be documented in the field. Claims of the AI Magic Cleaning kind are consistent on paper and still to be verified in real conditions.
