What it brings to your floors

3D perception

It sees the space, not just the floor

3D perception for car parks and semi-open areas. The MT1 Max anticipates low obstacles, vehicles and pillars, and adjusts its path accordingly.

  • Low obstacles and pillars
  • Adaptive path planning
Right up to the edge

Side brushes for edges and kerbs

The side brushes pull debris and dust in from along walls and parking bays, where a straight pass would leave a line behind.

The guide

Understanding the PUDU MT1 Max

There is one boundary most cleaning robots have never crossed: the exit door. The MT1 Max was designed for that grey zone of the semi-outdoors, rain-swept car parks and yards where lorries manoeuvre, that nobody knew how to hand over to a machine. Launched in summer 2025 and recognised with a Red Dot Design Award, it is the most hardened member of the MT1 family.

A dry sweeper hardened for the outdoors

Stripped to the essentials: a central roller picks up the debris, two side brushes sweep inwards to the centre, and filtered suction sends everything into a 35 litre hopper. A dry pick-up machine, for dead leaves, cigarette ends, grit, paper and dust, with sweeping rated right up to the edges, where grime builds up against bollards and kerbs.

Its decisive advantage fits in four characters: IP54. Protection against harmful dust and water spray from any direction, complemented by a rain sensor and perception tuned for night work and high ceilings that are difficult to map.

Compact where its competitors are massive

85 kilos in a footprint barely larger than a sack truck, when most machines aimed at very large areas weigh several hundred kilos: the MT1 Max stays manoeuvrable, fits in a goods lift, and can be moved by a single technician.

The manufacturer quotes sites of up to 100,000 m² managed with multiple maps: multi-storey and open-air car parks, loading docks, forecourts, campuses. Anywhere covered and uncovered zones, pedestrians and vehicles, fine cleaning and coarse debris all mix together.

Its place in the MT1 family

The choice is straightforward: for a fully indoor, sheltered site, the standard MT1 is enough; for carpet and fine dust, it is the MT1 Vac; as soon as a site combines vehicles, abrasive dust, water spray or exposed night work, the Max takes over.

It is typically the machine for shopping centre car parks, the semi-open zones of logistics platforms and the covered surroundings of industrial sites.

Points to watch, and how our service covers them

The MT1 Max picks up; it does not wet anything. It will not leave a floor gleaming, and the oil stains in a car park call for a different treatment. IP54 protects against spray, not immersion or extreme weather: the rain sensor stops work when conditions go beyond that envelope. On 8 September 2026 Pudu announced an auto-empty station for the MT1 Max: what is known and what it changes is covered in our article on the PUDU Auto-Empty Station.

The demonstration defines precisely which zones can be handled by the robot and at what frequency; brush servicing, with brushes exposed to abrasive material in semi-outdoor use, is part of the maintenance included, together with the 72-hour continuity guarantee.

FAQ

The questions we are asked about the MT1 Max

What is the PUDU MT1 Max?
The PUDU MT1 Max is Pudu's large-format autonomous sweeper: 70 cm wide, 2,200 m²/h in standard mode, up to 7,000 m²/h in targeted mode, 3D LiDAR perception, IP54 protection, 5 cm threshold crossing and gradients up to 8°. It is aimed at very large sites, car parks and semi-outdoor areas.
What is the difference between the MT1 and the MT1 Max?
The MT1 Max adds 3D perception, a dual-chip architecture, IP54 protection with water detection, threshold crossing and gradient capability, for sites over 100,000 m² and semi-outdoor areas. The MT1 remains the choice for indoor warehouses and workshops. Our guide "Pudu MT1 or MT1 Max" goes through the choice in detail.
Does the MT1 Max work outdoors?
In semi-outdoor areas: covered car parks, loading docks, canopies, sheltered surroundings. Its IP54 protection and water detection allow it to work on damp floors, but it is not a street sweeper.
How is the MT1 Max hopper emptied?
By hand for now, with a 35 L hopper. On 8 September 2026 Pudu announced an auto-empty station for the MT1 Max and the MT1; we will offer it as soon as it is available.
What runtime and what charging time?
Up to 8 h per charge, recharging in under 3.5 h, 24/7 operation with self-docking.
How much does the PUDU MT1 Max cost?
The price is not public. Easy to Clean offers it on all-inclusive rental (robot, station, maintenance, consumables, replacement within 72 h) or on purchase with a maintenance contract, with a quotation drawn up after a free demonstration on your floors.
