OrionStar CleaniBot S55 Pro · specs, operator review and alternatives (2026)
The OrionStar CleaniBot S55 Pro is a multifunction cleaning robot with 6 modes (scrubbing, vacuuming, sweeping and dust mopping among them), launched in 2023. Its central argument is quiet operation: 55 dBA at full scrubbing power measured at 1 metre, 45 dBA in dust-mop mode, which makes it comfortable to run during the day with the public present. It cleans a 520 mm path, carries 22 L of clean water, recycles a claimed 97% of its water and includes ozone disinfection. Worth knowing: it is the ONE S55 from the OEM manufacturer IKITBOT, sold under the OrionStar brand. Price and availability on request.

Floors and soiling
A 6-mode multifunction robot: its core target is everyday mixed soiling on hard floors, plus low-pile carpet in sweep-and-vacuum mode. The built-in disinfection (ozone, nano-silver) and water recovery make it a relevant candidate in healthcare. Bulky waste has to be dealt with beforehand. Its real signature remains quiet operation, which widens the windows in which it can be used.
What the manufacturer does not say
It is not an OrionStar design. The CleaniBot S55 Pro is the ONE S55 from the OEM manufacturer IKITBOT, marketed under the OrionStar brand. Who is responsible for support and spare parts needs to be settled in the contract before any commitment: it is the most important point for a buyer, and it appears on no sales literature.
The certifications shown are the OEM's. ISO, CE, UL and the other standards cited belong to the manufacturer IKITBOT, not to the robot. IEC 63327 is not confirmed: to be verified for demanding use in premises open to the public.
The quiet operation is real, but precisely defined. 55 dBA is measured at full scrubbing power at 1 metre; it is the central argument, to be confirmed for the mode you actually use. Cost structure: machine + consumables + connectivity, with no documented water station.
Buying or contracting out
If you buy (capex), the point to pin down is not the data sheet but the contract: the S55 Pro is an IKITBOT model sold under OEM arrangements, and responsibility for support and spare parts must be clarified before any commitment. Under a full-service contract (opex), the contractor carries this support chain and operational continuity. See the Pudu range and the on-site demonstration, or our robotic cleaning service.
Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Among the quietest on the market (55 / 45 dBA): daytime use with the public present.
- 6 modes with no tool change, low-pile carpet accepted.
- Water recovery and ozone disinfection, lift integration, established distribution.
Limitations
- OEM design (IKITBOT): support and spare parts to be clarified.
- Certifications shown are the OEM's, IEC 63327 not confirmed.
- No documented water station, width and battery data partly n/p.
Alternatives
- Against compact multifunction robots: the Gausium Phantas and the Pudu CC1 / CC1 Pro, for similar needs with in-house design specifications.
- If quiet operation is not the priority: the Ecovacs DEEBOT PRO M1, with more capacity for large surfaces.
For a comparison with the Pudu CC1, see the Pudu CC1 profile. To put figures on it: request a quotation, weigh up rental against purchase, or book an on-site demonstration.
