Ecovacs DEEBOT PRO M1 · specs, operator review and alternatives (2026)
The Ecovacs Commercial DEEBOT PRO M1 is a 3-in-1 cleaning robot (sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming) for medium and large surfaces, launched in 2023. It has the largest capacity of the compact multifunction robots: 500 mm cleaning width, 35 L of clean water, 1,200 m²/h rated productivity, and broad floor compatibility that includes carpet. It weighs 121.7 kg, climbs an 8° gradient and handles lifts through IoT. The trade-off: it needs aisles at least 850 mm wide. Local Price and availability on request.

Floors and soiling
A 3-in-1 for hard floors and carpet. Core target: mixed soiling on a very wide range of floor coverings (more than ten types listed), carpet included, which sets it apart from most compacts. Large solid debris must be swept up beforehand (1.6 L bin). Its floor versatility is its argument; its size is its limit.
What the manufacturer does not say
This is not a robot for cluttered spaces. Behind the "compact multifunction" label, the 850 mm passage width and the 121.7 kg put it closer to a medium-surface machine. In tight retail aisles or partitioned offices, it will not get through.
Treat the quoted suction figure with caution. A figure of 20,000 Pa circulates at one distributor but is not confirmed by Ecovacs: do not take it at face value. It is the neighbouring model, the DEEBOT PRO K1, that carries this value in an official source.
Public-area certification not communicated, to be confirmed for premises open to the public. Cost structure: machine + optional water station + consumables + IoT connectivity.
Buying or contracting out
If you buy (capex), the M1 is closer to a medium-surface machine (850 mm passage width, 121.7 kg) than to a compact, and its quoted suction is not confirmed by the manufacturer, nor is its local distribution. A direct purchase is premature; under a full-service contract (opex), that sourcing and the continuity commitment pass to the contractor. See the Pudu range and the on-site demonstration, or our robotic cleaning service.
Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- The largest capacity in the cluster: 35 L of water, medium and large surfaces.
- Very broad floor compatibility, carpet included.
- Lift and door handling through IoT, quick maintenance claimed.
Limitations
- 850 mm passage width and 121.7 kg: unsuitable for cluttered spaces.
- Rated productivity (1,200 m²/h) to be confirmed in real conditions.
- availability is confirmed at quotation stage.
Alternatives
- For cluttered spaces: the Gausium Phantas (600 mm passage width) when compactness matters more than capacity.
- Against compact 4-in-1 robots: the Pudu CC1 / CC1 Pro on smaller surfaces.
- When surface area comes first: a dedicated floor scrubber (see that cluster) on vast, uncluttered floors.
For a comparison with the Pudu CC1, see the Pudu CC1 profile. To put figures on it: request a quotation, weigh up rental against purchase, or book an on-site demonstration.
