Gausium Beetle Standard and Pro · specs, operator review and alternatives (2026)

The Gausium Beetle is an indoor-outdoor industrial autonomous sweeper launched in 2024 for warehouses, factories, logistics sites and car parks. It sweeps a 750 mm path, carries a 45 L debris hopper, climbs 8° gradients and has self-cleaning HEPA filtration. It comes in Standard (3 h runtime) and Pro (5 h, with a safety kit: visibility flag, beacon and headlights) versions. It does not scrub: it is a dry machine. Price and availability on request.

Reading by environment

Function firstThe Beetle does not scrub: it is a sweeper. It picks up dust and dry debris; any wet soiling calls for a scrubber alongside it.
Floor area tier45 L hopper, CD dock: designed for long rounds over large areas. The Pro (5 h) runs longer between charges than the Standard (3 h).
Footprint / aisles750 mm wide, 1,200 mm U-turn: large open spaces.
Indoor-outdoorAn asset: it moves from indoors to outdoors, with self-cleaning HEPA filtration that reduces filter maintenance. Climbs 8° gradients.
Public / opening hoursThe Pro adds a safety kit (flag, beacon, headlights): better suited to sites with mixed pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The Standard does not have this configuration.
SuccessorA Beetle 2.0 (IP55) has been announced (Interclean 2026) but is not yet in the catalogue: one to watch if improved ingress protection is a criterion.

Floors and soiling

A dry sweeper for indoor and outdoor hard floors: dust and dry debris in warehouses, factories and car parks. It does not scrub: wet soiling needs a scrubber alongside it. No carpet (it can cross short-pile carpet). Self-cleaning HEPA filtration makes it a clean machine for indoor air.

What the manufacturer does not say

It is a sweeper, not a scrubber. It covers the dry pass; plan a scrubber for the wet pass in the same sequence.

The Pro is not only about runtime. It adds the safety kit (flag, beacon, headlights), which is decisive on mixed-traffic sites: the Standard goes without it.

The Beetle 2.0 is coming. Announced with an IP55 rating, it is not yet in the catalogue: for an immediate purchase, the choice is limited to the Standard or the Pro. Cost structure: machine + dock + brush consumables.

Purchase or full-service contract

On purchase (capex), the choice between Standard and Pro is not only about runtime: only the Pro carries the safety kit that matters on mixed-traffic sites, and the announced Beetle 2.0 could date an immediate purchase. Under a full-service contract (opex), the contractor chooses the version and takes on continuity. See the Pudu range and the on-site demonstration, or our robotic cleaning service.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • Indoor-outdoor, climbs 8°, self-cleaning HEPA filtration.
  • Pro: 5 h runtime and safety kit (flag, beacon, headlights).
  • 45 L hopper, CD dock.

Limits

  • Does not scrub: covers only the dry half of the job.
  • 1,200 mm U-turn, recent model (2024).
  • Standard has no safety kit.

Alternatives

  • Against heavy-duty sweepers: the Gausium Sweeper 111 (1,100 mm, 5,500 m²/h) for larger areas.
  • For scrubbing alongside it: the Gausium Scrubber 75 or the Kärcher KIRA B 50.
