What the manufacturer does not say

Designed as a robot, not converted. Unlike the AMRs (T7, T16, T380, ride-on machines motorised for autonomous operation), the X4 ROVR is a native robot: hence its manoeuvrability, but also the absence of a manual driving fallback and of a dock.

The 2.5 h runtime is short. With no dock, this is the structural constraint: it confines the machine to small sites, with frequent recharging.

A real site layout constraint. The minimum 457 mm clearance from drops, loading docks and stairs is not a detail: it determines feasibility on a site with docks or mezzanines. Cost structure: machine plus consumables plus manual water handling.

Purchase or outsourced service

On a purchase (capex), the native X4 ROVR offers fine manoeuvrability but has neither a manual driving fallback nor a dock, and its short runtime (2.5 h) confines it to small sites with frequent recharging.
