PUDU GT robotic mowers: Pudu Robotics shows its first commercial mowers at GaLaBau 2026

After floor cleaning robots, Pudu Robotics is heading outdoors. On 1 September 2026 the manufacturer launched the PUDU GT range, three robotic mowers built for commercial lawns and professionally managed grounds, and gave them their world premiere at the GaLaBau trade fair in Nuremberg from 15 to 18 September. Here is what has been published so far, with no extrapolation.
What Pudu announced
The launch release of 1 September describes a three-machine range for "professional grounds and turf management". The GT3, 91 cm wide, is aimed at fragmented grounds: parks, campuses, hospital sites and mixed-use estates. It collects clippings on the lawn and, thanks to built-in disc brushes, gives footpaths and paved areas a light sweep. The GT5, 152 cm wide, is a rotary mower for large lawns: roughly 8,000 m² an hour, up to 65,000 m² on one charge, ten hours of runtime, grass, leaves and small debris picked up in a single pass, plus autonomous emptying and task resumption depending on configuration. The GT7, 160 cm wide, is a mower with three floating reels for golf courses and sports pitches, with RTK positioning to ± 2.5 cm, four-wheel drive, slopes of up to 30 degrees, tool-free height adjustment and a steel chassis.
All three share the navigation base used in the brand's indoor robots: autonomous mapping, LiDAR, cameras and depth sensors, with no perimeter wire. They carry an IP66 rating, an emergency stop and a manual driving mode. Battery capacities, charging times, weights and prices were not given at launch. What this means for a site manager
The sites where we clean floors, such as warehouses, campuses, healthcare buildings and public premises, also have verges and lawns to look after, with the same constraints as their floors: large areas, crews that are hard to recruit, tight time windows and safety requirements whenever the public is around. An electric, programmable, quiet autonomous mower that collects its own clippings meets those constraints in the same way a scrubber-dryer robot does on a warehouse floor. The machine keeps the surface in order; the team keeps the edges, the beds and the checks. That is the cobotic model we have applied from the start, carried outdoors.
The GT3 is the model that interests us most at first, because it matches our clients' mixed sites, where lawns alternate with paved paths. The GT5 belongs on large industrial and logistics sites; the GT7 is for sports turf managers, a trade in its own right. What Pudu showed in Nuremberg
Update of 23 September 2026. GaLaBau ran from 15 to 18 September. The GT range made its first public appearance there, and the GT5 mowed in the outdoor demonstration area while showing off its Auto Dumping function: the mower empties the collected grass on its own and goes back to work, removing one of the most frequent human interventions on a large lawn.
At the show, the manufacturer published neither prices, nor a European availability date, nor the figures still missing for the GT3 and GT7 (working rate, runtime, battery). The next announced appearance is the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo in Australia in October 2026. Separately, at IFA in Berlin on 14 September, Pudu announced a stronger European presence: offices in Germany and the Netherlands, European stock and multilingual support.
The end-of-September brochures: what we now know
Update of 28 September 2026. Pudu has released detailed brochures for all three models. The figures that were missing for the GT3 and GT7 are now published: the GT3 is rated at 5,000 m² an hour, 2 ha per charge, 4 to 5 hours of runtime and a 13 kWh battery; the GT7 at 8,000 m² an hour, 7 ha per charge without collection, 8 to 10 hours of runtime and 26 kWh. The GT5 is now given as 6.5 ha per charge.
Three points stand out. The GT3 is a dual-purpose machine: with its blades stopped, its two brushes and its suction turn it into a path sweeper, so it keeps working once the grass stops growing. All three models empty their own bins (60, 100 and 130 litres) and resume the task where they left off. Finally, the GT7 is set from 5 to 50 mm with a dial, follows ground contours with three floating cutting units and climbs 30° slopes in four-wheel drive: it is a golf and sports pitch machine, not a park mower.

What happens next
The range joins our offer, either as an all-inclusive rental or as a purchase with a maintenance contract, just like our floor robots. Demonstrations take place on your own grounds, because slopes, satellite reception, access between zones and the dump point can only be checked on site.
